Rathbone's installations are less transformative of the space then they are informative of time spent in it and an intimate connection fostered by the artist with its surfaces, dimensions and other nuances during their own diurnal transformations. What she leaves is a record of her experience that invites the viewer to see what she saw and to find and interpret the space's nuances on their own. 

 

The pieces in the show were developed for the site over the course of the installation. The limits of the small space provided an opportunity for resolution in each piece but also for the pieces to overlap and intermingle. From left to right on the wall, starting from the leftmost wall by the door and working back around the installations are as follows:
